My first ever outing to Santa Pod, unfortunately the main event was "rained off" and there was no action on the drag strip. However there was still a great turn-out of cars, and the drift guys did some fantastic skids!

It was a nice gloomy day, so I could get the shutter speed down on my camera (even as low as 1/40!) and practice some panning, was a shame that I had to hold my camera above my head to get out of the way of the barriers! I'm really pleased with some of the results considering this.
